This summer has gone by so fast! I’ve been very grateful for the extra family time this summer but am looking forward to the routine the school year gives us. I’m currently on vacation in St Louis and will write a post about our vacation once we’re back and settled.
Undetected by Dee Henderson
Dee Henderson tells the story of Gina a genius with a recent break-up and the story of Mark, a captain of a Navy boomer. The two meet after Gina’s recent break-up brings her to her brother’s apartment. Gina hopes that some distance and her work on Sonar can help heal a broken heart. During her stay at the Naval base, she finds herself being pursued by two men. Now, for the first time in her life, she must choose between two very different men.
I’ve become a fan of Dee Henderson and this story does not disappoint. The characters have depth and are enjoyable to get to know. She does a great of including Christian themes and conversation into her stories. This story is wisdom-filled regarding choosing a spouse and relationships. I truly enjoyed the Navy as a setting to her story. I know little of Navy life and her attention to detail and her knowledge helps make the story seem more realistic.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a light romance read that has good depth, anyone looking for a Christian love story or a young adult feeling the frustration of finding a spouse.
On a scale of 1-5 bookends, I easily give this a 5 out of 5.
I received this book free from Bethany Publishing for an honest review.
