My Stitch Fix- Fix 2

I was pretty excited to get my second box. My first box was a success and I decided to keep everything. To read my initial box thoughts read my review HERE.

This fix I asked for items that would work with the awesome sweater I received with the last box and items I could dress up or down. I must say, my stylist is amazing. She did a great job again this month with meeting and exceeding my expectations.

This month I received two sweaters, two shirts and a pair of skinny jeans or jeggings (I’m not sure what makes jeans skinny vs jeggings…). I was quite pleased with all of it. Here is what I received and what I kept and what I sent back.

First off, the Skinny Jeans. Its hard to tell in the picture but they are a dark wash with gold printed into it. Not only are they pretty but they are also super comfy! I have a hard time finding jeans that 1) I like and 2) feet well. However these are fantastic. They are Liverpool Anita Printed Skinny Print. I kept these.

20161126_195441 This is beautiful! It’s a silky-like material and it has this fun button on the sleeves. It’s a bit clingier than I would like for my tummy area. However it looks great. I also love how I can pair it with my sweater from last time which would help hide the tummy. I can also wear it to work and or just out and about. This is 41Hawthorne Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse. I kept this.

Sorry for the sideways picture. I couldn’t figure out how to turn it. This is a very pretty sweater. Its long so it looks great with the skinny jeans. It has some darker threading along the bottom which doesn’t show on the picture. The one downfall is the knitting is not really thick. So I will need to wear a cami or  tank underneath. I feel like I could dress it up or keep it casual. This is RD Style La Roda Pullover Sweater. I kept this.

This was probably my favorite. It’s basically a long t-shirt. It was flowy so I didn’t have any tummy clinging. It also worked great with the jeans. Unfortunately, it had a slight snag in the thread on the inside of the shirt. Although it would most likely NOT catch on anything, I didn’t want to spend so much on something that had a blemish. I did reach out to Stitch Fix and asked about getting a replacement, unfortunately they had none to send me. This is Le Lis Stanley Striped Reglan Top. I did return it.

This was the last sweater in the box. I love the elbow patches and the texture on the bodice. Its also a long sweater which looked good with the jeans. To say I loved this sweater would’ve been and understatement. Its warm and comfy. It was also a bit thin and will require a cami. However, this was a whopping $98. I was extremely torn about sending it or keeping until I realized I had to send back my other shirt. Without the 25% discount, I couldn’t rationalize spending that much on a white sweater. No matter how awesome those elbow pads are. It is Evolution by Cyrus Abbot Cowl Neck Elbow Patch Sweater.

Sending two items back, brought my total down under $200 after my styling fee was taken out. So I felt pretty good about my stash and the cost. Initially, when I thought I was keeping all 5 items, I was going to put my fix on hold. However, since I sent two back, I may take one in December. I’ll have to wait to see how my holiday spending goes.

As always, if you want to try it out, you can follow this LINK. This does provide me with a discount once you order your first box.

Do you get Stitch Fix or another service? I’d love to hear about your fixes or boxes. What do you think of the clothes I received? Would you have kept or sent back something different? Let me know!
